An eminent and end-to-end facelift of a six decade old home in the midst of a structured apartment colony, designed as a functional upgrade for a senior couple creating a space that is not only aesthetically pleasing but also functional and comfortable. Holistically the house is remodeled to suit the modern day spatial needs.
One is welcomed with a vaulted roof volume, flanked with a subtle textured highlight wall dividing the common areas from the rooms. This is facilitated by a functional upgradation of the complete set of services from exposed to concealed systems.
The redevelopment involves reshaping the geometry of room openings and creating wall nooks by maximizing the reach of natural light into the interior spaces. A thoughtful character of the home was attained by providing a neutral palette with pockets of warm tones, furnishing it with multi-functional seating with storage units.
